OUR HISTORY
The history of the Montaña Family starts at the end of the XIX century as Heroic Vignerons in the task of vine caretakers.
Shortly after, at the beginning of the XX century, the second generation embarked on a long journey as Master Winemakers in the production fine wines aged on the property.
At the end of the XX century, with the third generation, the family's adventure as International Retailers of their wines began.
Nowadays, in the 21st century, with the fourth generation, the family is immersed into the innovative experience of pairing Wine Tourism and Gastronomy. Thus, Pagos de Haro opens its doors to visitors to taste its wines in its VI century Historic Calado*, marvel at its wonderful panoramic views and its vanguard corners, and share the experiences acquired by the Montaña Family over its 135 year history.
